Issuance of Seafarer’s Identification and Record Book (SIRB) | ANAM

 The National Agency of Maritime Affairs (ANAM) of the Union of Comoros has issued a new Maritime Circular (MC) regarding the Issuance of Seafarer’s Identification and Record Book (SIRB) to all seafarers on board Comorian Flagged vessels, entering into force on 01 January 2024.

Upon application date of this MC, it will be mandatory for all seafarers, whether they are on the Minimum Safe Manning Certificate or not, to hold a SIRB that has been issued by ANAM.
